AREA FORECAST:
Owens Valley / Mammoth Lakes
MON DEC 28, 2020 4:32 AM PST
WEATHER DISCUSSION: Today we have a splitting system, with the Southern split diving South and favoring Mammoth and the Southern Sierra (Winter Weather Advisory for points South of Hwy 50). It’s a cold storm with higher snow ratios. Right now, overall, all snow amounts Monday are looking like 6 – 10 inches on the Mountain, with an additional 2 – 4 in Town. The Owens Valley should see a chance of light snow showers lingering into today. Drier weather Tuesday with increasing clouds Wednesday, as another system approaches our forecast area…DMATT
