$900 Billion Covid-19 Relief Bill contained within a year-end $2.3 Trillion Omnibus 2021 Spending Bill funding the federal government.

The $900 billion bill signed by President Donald Trump on December 27 includes:

  • A second round of stimulus checks ($600 base amount);
  • Extended $300-per-week unemployment benefits added to the total you receive from the state
  • Adds Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, which provides benefits for people who usually don’t qualify for unemployment, including the self-employed and gig worker. Extended to March 14, 2021;
  • More funding for Paycheck Protection Program small business loans;
  • More money for COVID-19 vaccines and testing;
  • Extended tax breaks, and much more.

It is not known exactly when the stimulus checks will begin arriving due to the delay in Trump signing the bill, however, it is likely that the checks will be in the mail within the next two to three weeks.
