Quite warm today (10+ degrees above normal) followed by cooler air Sunday and much of next week, as a cutoff low will set up camp over California. This system could bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms to Mono County as early as Saturday and the Owens Valley by Monday. The low will stagnate over the area and leave a chance of showers (thunderstorms?) into Wednesday. How much moisture we actually see still remains to be seen. But we will take what we can get.

Today: Sunny. Highs 86 / Lows 47. Winds NW 5 mph.
Saturday & Sunday: Mostly sunny becoming partly cloudy each day. Highs 78 / Lows 48. Winds NW 5 mph.
FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:
Today: Mostly sunny. Highs 66 / Lows 38. Winds NE 5 mph.
Saturday & Sunday: 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms each day. Highs 59 / Lows 34. Winds NE 5 – 10 mph.
FOR MONO COUNTY:
Today: Mostly sunny. Highs 69 – 79 / Lows 30 – 40. Winds N 10 – 15 mph.
Saturday & Sunday: Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms each day. Highs 59 – 69 / Lows 29 – 39. Winds NE 10 mph.
