The last day of April 2013 sees a broad trough moving through Idaho and Utah. Little in the the way of moisture for us (save for some high clouds), but this will set up breezy to windy conditions for both Inyo and Mono Counties. I suspect low end advisory winds in some places along with very low RH, say in the single digits. So the big concerns are not just the winds, but the low humidity and dry fuels in our district. So please be careful with fire. Cooler air will come along with this package. By Wednesday winds should begin to ease up. Thursday will see the ridge re-developing along the coast, for warming temps and continued low RH through the weekend.

Today: Sunny. Highs 62 / Lows 33. Winds SW 10 – 15 mph G 25.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny. Highs 60 / Lows 30. Winds NE 5 – 10 mph.
