OWENS RIVER

SierraWave Media: Radio – TV – Online News

WED APR 24 2013

Gusty winds subsided yesterday afternoon, leaving us with a nice evening. For today, a larger trough down by SOCAL and BAJA will slowly make landfall and meander eastward. I can’t rule out a chance of ghost pops over the S. Sierra today and Thursday. Temperatures will also cool a bit today and tomorrow. Then Friday the EPAC ridge re-builds for warming temps and light winds through the weekend.

For the Owens Valley:

Today: Mostly sunny becoming partly cloudy. Highs 73 / Lows 41. Winds NW 5 – 10 mph.

Thursday: Sunny becoming partly cloudy. Highs 76 / Lows 43. Winds NW 5 – 10 mph.

For the Town of Mammoth Lakes:

Today: Mostly sunny becoming partly cloudy. Highs 56 / Lows 32. Winds NE 5 – 10 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny becoming partly cloudy. Highs 58 / Lows 35. Winds N 5 mph.

For Mono County:

Today: Mostly sunny becoming partly cloudy. Highs 59 – 69 / Lows 25 – 35. Winds E 10 mph.

Thursday: Partly cloudy. Highs 63 – 73 / Lows 28 – 38. Winds NE 10 mph.
