So far the Rex block is keeping any major storms well to the north of our district. Cooler temperatures today and breezy as a system skirts the Great Basin. Wednesday and Thursday will see a closed low moving inland through S. CA and AZ. Limited instability is possible (maybe a shower or two) along the Crest. Right now, Friday and through the weekend still looks warm in the valleys and nice in the mountains.
Looks like Tioga Pass <might> open on May 11, 2013
