FRIDAY AUG 01 2014
Stating today the Four Corners High will be suppressed into Arizona and New Mexico. This will usher in drier air. But there will still be enough moisture for isolated to scattered thunderstorms over the Sierra thru the weekend. Daytime highs for the weekend should run between 94 – 97 F for the Owens Valley and 79 – 89 F for Mono County. For next week, thunderstorm chances potentially increase westward, as the Four Corners High oscillates into a more favorable position, to transport moisture into Inyo, Mono County and Western Nevada. I will keep you posted on this.
