MONDAY JULY 14 2014
Continued warm (with today being the warmest day of the week) as high pressure drifts into Utah. However because of its position and a shortwave trough riding that ridge on Monday, we will see an ever increasing chance of monsoonal moisture making its way into our area this week. So starting today, both Inyo and Mono County will see a chance of thunderstorms over the mountains most of the work week and into the weekend. During this time-frame, high out flow winds and wet isolated downpours will be possible. Along with this, we will have to keep our eye out for any flash flooding. Mid week temperatures should also trend downward a bit.
