Big warm up starts today (10 – 20 degrees above normal) as strong high pressure moves onto the West Coast. This trend will continue thru Wednesday, where the Owens Valley will see 83F, Mammoth 60F, Mono County 64 – 74F, Reno 74K, Truckee 70F and Las Vegas 91F. As the work week progresses, a couple of weak fronts will pass thru, giving us slight cooling and thats about it. It remains to be seen if these systems will produce any precipitation in Mono County or not. Stay tuned.
Owens Valley:
Today: Sunny. Highs 74 – 77 / Lows 40 – 50. Winds NW 10 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny. Highs 79 – 82 / Lows 42 – 52. Winds S 10 – 15 mph.
Town of Mammoth Lakes (7,800 – 8,200 feet):
Today: Sunny. Highs 59 / Lows 34. Winds S 5 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny. Highs 63 / Lows 38. Winds SW 5 mph.
Mono County:
