Although its not a drought buster, we did end the month with some moisture. Precipitation winds down today, with just a slight chance in the Owens Valley. Mono County will continue with a chance through this evening. Saturday looks mostly sunny then a coastal hugger could bring a slight chance to Mono County on Sunday. Also much cooler temperatures over the weekend than we have experiencing of late (15 – 20 degrees). After that, ridging strengthens for mostly dry weather next week (still a chance of a shortwave or two entering the district). By next weekend some of the models are showing the ridge breaking down again. We will see…
