The forecast models are showing a wetter pattern in April <but> they have also been consistent in showing that kind of pattern in each prior month this winter. So what do you think? For me, April is April, a transition month to a drier pattern, not wetter. Storms if any will be on the lighter side, as the Jet starts to weaken and move north. And don’t forget our ever-present West Coast Ridge. Speaking of the ridge, its built in and will provide dry and warmer weather into Saturday. There are few systems out there that might make a run at the ridge Sunday and next week, but I don’t think they will have much success. A 20% chance of showers in Mono County and Reno is not at wetter pattern. Any way you look at it, time is running short for this season…DMATT
