Ridge of high pressure continues to strengthen today and thru the weekend. This will setup and offshore flow, bringing breezy conditions to parts of our district. Also temps will run above normal. Now on Monday the ridge axis moves eastward, over Utah. As it does, weak energy moving up from Northern Baja, moves in behind it. I don’t have much confidence in getting much rain or snow with this one, but lets say theres a slight chance Tuesday into Wednesday from the Owens Valley up thru Reno. Snow levels (if any) will be high, from above 8,500 feet depending where you are. Mostly I think we will get widespread cloud cover. Because this is a southern focused system, there won’t be much of a drop in temps. Track and timing here is an issue (as always) so stay tuned.
