Weather forecaster, Dennis Mattinson
FORECAST AREA: The Owens Valley / The Town of Mammoth Lakes
MON MAR 29 2021 4:12 AM PDT
SYNOPSIS: Warming temperatures over the weekend, as mid level ridging continued its influence. However, that ridge gets squashed by a strong, dry cold front digging through the PACNW and northern Rockies overnight last night into today. We won’t get any precipitation, but temperatures should drop abruptly some 5 – 10 degrees by Tuesday. Post frontal winds today, as well. So 20 – 30 mph should be common then. All this is short lived as ridging re-takes its hold on the West Coast late week, for warming temperatures. Welcome to Spring and temperature roller coaster time!!…DMATT
