WEATHER FORECAST: The Owens Valley / The Town of Mammoth Lakes
WED FEB 24 2021 4:11 AM PST
SYNOPSIS: We are still in a mostly dry pattern with the NW flow favoring the PACNW. That puts us in inslider terrority, with mostly dry systems (and windy) working their way down the coast over-land. A cold shot of air from an inside slider blasting through the Great Basin will dump temps some 3 – 5 degrees. That front quickly moves east Thursday, setting up moderating temperatures into Friday. Then a moderate scale slider (541dm) from Canada, drops Southward into CA over the weekend. This front should give our area another cool down. I am not anticipating any major impacts for us, save for a few snow showers possible in Mammoth on Saturday. Breezy to windy weather can be expected on Saturday as well…DMATT
