CDPH lifts Stay at Home Order
Inyo County Press Release, January 25, 2021 – California Department of Public Health announced today that the California Stay at Home Order has been lifted. Inyo County will remain in the Purple Tier of the state’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy, indicating that the risk level in this county is widespread.
This change will require certain industries to modify their operations in order to remain open. In order to return to the Red Tier, Inyo’s local data must stabilize and consistently reflect positivity and case rates consistent with the Red Tier thresholds for a two week period. It will be essential that we all do our individual part by continuing to use face coverings, staying home when ill, practice physical distancing, avoid gatherings and mixing with other households, and washing our hands frequently.
Purple Tier summary of industry guidelines:
- Restaurants – Outdoor only, with modifications
- Bars – Closed.
- Personal Care Services – Open indoors, with modifications
- Family Entertainment Centers – Open for outdoor activities only with modifications; indoor activities (e.g. bowling alleys) are closed
- Gyms and Fitness Centers –Outdoor only, with modifications
- Movie Theaters – Outdoor only, with modifications
- All Retail – Reduced to 25% indoor capacity
- Places of Worship – Face coverings and social distancing required at all times
- Hotels and Lodging – Open with modifications
- Museums, Zoos and Aquariums – Outdoor only, with modifications
- Malls, Destination Centers and Swap Meets – Open indoor, with modifications: 25% indoor capacity, closed common areas and food courts
- Offices – Non-critical infrastructure offices remote
- Schools – remain open subject to local determination
