Bishop Paiute Gas Station Closed | Employee tests positive for COVID-19

Gas station closed due to employee testing positive for COVID-19

December 1, 2020 – Inyo County – The Management of the Bishop Paiute Gas Station and the Administration of the Bishop Paiute Tribe were informed this afternoon of a gas station employee testing positive for COVID-19. The employee had not been on premises since prior to November 25th.

However out of an abundance of caution, effective immediately the Bishop Paiute Gas Station is closed until Friday, December 11th and all staff has been sent home to self-quarantine. During this time, the premises will also be cleaned and disinfected.

The Bishop Paiute Tribe is a federally recognized Indian tribe located on its 879-acre Bishop Paiute
Reservation in Inyo County, California. The Reservation was formed under Congressional Act 5299, P.L.
