WEATHER DISCUSSION: A pattern interrupting storm system is headed our way by the weekend. This should bring a taste of Fall by Sunday, with brisk overnight lows, in Mammoth and the Owens Valley. By later Saturday into Sunday, a dusting of snow is possible in the higher elevations of the Sierra Crest, with most of the precipitation North of I-80. For The Owens Valley, continued dry conditions are likely. Expect breezy weather as well. The first half of next week, ridging looks to return off the West Coast, with a gradual increase in temps.–DMATT
