AREA FORECAST:
The Owens Valley / Town of Mammoth Lakes
Wed Aug 26 2020
WEATHER DISCUSSION: Not much change in our weather for today, with warm temperatures and areas of smoke and haze continuing. By Thursday low pressure moving onto the CA coast should push the Four Corners high east just a tad, dropping temperatures a degree or two. The presence of that low will also bring a slight chance of thunderstorms to the higher terrain of Mammoth. Now early next week, I am looking at the possibility of the formation of a deep and cold Canadian trough setting up over the Northern Intermountain West. Just how far South that trough will push remains to be seen. So I will continue to monitor…DMATT
