Weather forecaster Dennis Mattinson

DISCUSSION:

After sunny most of today, a deepening closed low of the SOCAL coast will move onshore and then rapidly inland, tonight into Saturday. This will bring light rain showers to the Owens Valley and light snow to Mono County. Maybe 1 –  3 inches of light snow accumulation in the upper elevations on Mammoth Mountain. The Northern White Mountains might do a little better with snow, maybe 5 inches. Not a lot for sure, but we will take what we can get. As fast as it moved in, its out of here on Sunday, with dry weather returning. Right now there a no signals of any major storms thru the end of February…DMATT
