Baggy trough along the coast will bring cooler temperatures (for early June) and a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms over the Sierra Crest (particularly in northern Mono County) on Wednesday and Thursday. A slight chance exists in Mono County thru the weekend as well. Winds should be on the lighter side from the North. Right now the forecast looks dry and warmer (above normal) thru the weekend, with  some cooling coming our way early next week. Stay tuned.

Owens Valley:

Today: Mostly sunny. Highs 90 – 93 / Lows 50 – 60. Winds SE 10 – 15 mph.
Thursday: Sunny. Highs 90 – 93 / Lows 50 – 60. Winds NW 5 – 10 mph.

Mammoth Lakes (7,800 – 8,200 feet):

Today: Mostly sunny. Highs 71 / Lows 41. Winds W 5 – 10 mph.
Thursday: Sunny becoming partly cloudy 20% chance of afternoon showers & thunderstorms.  Highs 74 / Lows 43.  Winds NE 5 – 10 mph.

Mono County:

Today: Sunny becoming partly cloudy slight chance of isolated showers & thunderstorms. Highs 72 – 82 / Lows 36 – 46. Winds NW 10 mph.
Thursday: Sunny becoming partly cloudy slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms.  Highs 75 – 85 / Lows  35 – 45. Winds NW 5 – 10 mph.
