FRIDAY MAY 02 2014
High amplitude ridge over the Western US continues to keep us under above normal temperatures and mostly sunny skies today. Temps begin to moderate by Sundayas a trough of low pressure moves thru the PACNW. By Monday and Tuesday that system moves thru the Great Basin and sags a bit south into Mono County and Inyo County. So cooler temps continue with a slight chance of showers, particularlyMonday night into Tuesday. Trough kicks east in a hurry on Wednesday followed by flat ridging off the coast. This brings on dry conditions thru Friday.
