WED APR 30 2014
The last day of April 2014 sees high pressure off the West Coast and a deep trough over the East. Right now the barometer is at a very strong 30.10 inHg. This brings gusty northeasterly winds to the district and continued warming thru Friday. The ridge flattens Saturday in response to a trough of low pressure riding over the ridge, and set to impact the PACNW this weekend. So cooler temps and a chance of precipitation down to far Northern California. If that system sags farther south, there could be a slight chance of moisture into the Tahoe and Mono County areas, Mondayor Tuesday.
