As the West Coast ridge builds in, a weak system arrives today with a chance of showers in Mono County. Gusty today as well with temps dipping about 10 degrees from Sunday. The ridge then becomes better established by Tuesday bringing a period of dry and warmer weather through this coming weekend. Temperatures rebound to about 10 – 15 degrees above normal then.
Owens Valley:
Today: Partly cloudy. Highs 65 – 70 / Lows 34 – 37. Winds S 10 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Highs 62 – 65 / Lows 35 – 40. Winds NW 10 – 15 mph.
Town of Mammoth Lakes (7,800 – 8,200 feet):
Today: 70% chance of snow showers. Highs 44 / Lows 21. Winds SW 15 – 20 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny. Highs 36 / Lows 25. Winds N 5 – 10 mph.
Mono County:
